My Mac is still in the OR which means I can't post pix. oh well. haven't been doing much. I did race last weekend with my arm/knee full of stitches. it was good to get back on the bike and I thank my sweet hubby for encouraging me to do so instead of using it as an excuse to sit around, watch Netflix and eat ice cream. No racing this weekend because I was too lazy to drive to Frisco and I needed some time w/ the fam.
We did the Family Bike Ride today which means I have Isabella on our Burley Tosa (it's a road tandem) and Ken pulls Frankie in the Burley trailer. It's lots of fun but Isabella does spend a good amount of time asking me if we're almost there yet and telling me that she's cold or hungry. She did bring her iPod so that helped to cut down on the whining. Really, she's a good sport. We rode for about 2. 5 hours. Decided to leave the dog at home instead of putting him in the trailer with Francesca.
I was an Elite Track Nats results junkie for the last few days which was fun. Congrats to all of the Colorado riders, especially my former teammate Cari Higgins who scored several medals including a jersey in the team sprint!! Way to go Cari!
