Cyclocross is just too much fun. I like cross more than road, I've decided. I've also decided that my new MO is that I have to have to bring beer for after the race if there is not a beer garden as part of the race. Unfortunately, I've been sick for the last 10 days or so and (foolishly?) did two races in those 10 days but did not feel up to the post beer feed. Drat.
On another note, I won Women's Rider of the Year (like ACA BAR) and also Masters Rider of the Year at the track this year. I got some sweet green backs in exchange! woo hoo! As my friend Gary Peterson said, "A check always fits better than a jacket!"
